On my very first bus tour as a guide through New York City, guests asked me numerous questions before we even reached Times Square — and I loved every moment of it.Years of leading tours across the U.S. and Canada have taught me that people’s curiosity is endless. That experience inspired me to write my first book about tour guiding and, eventually, to develop a series of trivia and quiz books that aim to evoke the same curiosity and sense of discovery.Today, I am the author of a growing series of trivia and quiz titles that inform, entertain, and challenge readers. Each book covers topics such as travel, sports, geography, music, food, entertainment, history, and pop culture, and contains thousands of carefully crafted questions designed to test knowledge and spark curiosity.Every question in my books provides four answer choices, with the correct one paired with an interesting fact. This structure ensures readers not only enjoy the challenge but also learn something new each time they engage with the game. Ten years in New York, twenty years in Florida, and countless tours through cities, national parks, and coastal regions gave him a deep understanding of cultures, people, and places — knowledge that later became the backbone of his books.Today, Nicco Schaal lives in Germany once again and devotes himself entirely to writing trivia and quiz books.
